I then restarted my computer and i reinstalled the Windows 8.1 Drivers from HP.Īfter Restarting my computer again i checked to see if everything was back to normal but it wasn't everything still sounded the same.

I Uninstalled IDT Sound Driver I went into control panel and uninstalled The IDT Audio Driver. I tried fixing the sound here is what i tried:

I only Click on the Advanced Tab and change the Default Format to 16 bit, 48000 Hz (DVD Quality)īecause that's what the Default Format was on Windows 8.1 Now just go through each Tab and change what you want to change. She also plugged in her ear buds and they sounded like Mono Instead of Stereo. I plugged my Turtle Beach Z11 Headset into my other Sisters HP that has Windows 10 (She Upgraded from Windows 7) and my Turtle Beach Z11 Headset sounded like Mono Instead of Stereo. I plugged my Turtle Beach Z11 Headset into my Sister's HP that still has windows 8.1 and my Turtle Beach Z11 Headset sounded fine. The Headset Microphone Seems to be Working Fine. In Windows 8.1 The Speakers built into the Laptop and The Turtle Beach Z11 Headset sounded like Stereo and loud (Perfect). Played a Show or Movie on Netflix (Sounded Bad)

System: AMD FX-8350, 16GB, 4.0GHZ, SSD primary drive, M5A99FX PRO R2.0 (Socket 942) Motherboard. I’m running Windows 10 and haven’t been able to get it running since I put this machine together. I don’t have anything for Realtek in the System Tray. I see a DTSAudio Svc running in Services. I do have Realtek High Definition Audio in my Device Manager. I tried everything you’ve outlined and still cannot get it running.
